facebook is pretty much a more mature, better and safer version of myspace. it is for highschoolers and up. basically, once you have signed up, you just put in some information about yourself in the boxes that it provides and upload a picture and it is a way to communicate with your friends. it is a private site, which means that search engines cannot get into your personal page, as they can on myspace. pretty much, if you dont like myspace, you will like facebook.

Reply:My nieces convinced me to try facebook. i've had fun with it, and everyone seems to know it, so i assume it's as popular as myspace. i've also heard it's cleaner, from a lot of friends who've had both.
Just go to facebook.com, and follow the prompts. i don't know how old you are, and i think there's an age limit of 13, but give it a shot.
