can you change your layout and add graphics like myspace?? IF SO HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT???HOW DO I ADD FRIENDS AND TALK TO PEOPLE??? I REALLY AM CLUELESS!
What is the whole facebook?? i have a myspace account and i heard they were similar, but i have no clue!?
facebook started out more for colleges and then about 2 years ago they opened facebook up for high school students. During these two early stages of facebook you had to be invited to join by some one in you school network [you had to be invitied by some one who went to your school] or sign up using your school email, such as janedoe@college.com. About a year ago they made facebook avaible to all people to join.
You can change your layout but not to the degree that you can change your myspace. You can change the order of all the stuff on your page but you can't change the background and such. Facebook has different "Applications" that you can add that allow you to add music, trivia, horoscopes, video, etc. Once you add applications you can chose weither or not to have them show up on your profile [and in what order they show up] or you can add them but not have them show up on your profile if you like a clean simple profile.
To add friends you can either search for them or browse for them based on their network. To talk to people you can comment them or message the.

Reply:You can't do a layout like myspace, but how it works is you add applications (they have a billion of them) to make your profile more interesting, instead of having to look all over the place trying to find graphics and layouts, they are all right there. Plus you can stay alot more connected with your friends because you can play games with them by adding apps, or draw things....it's alot more personal and fun. I would give it a try. I have both, but I like my facebook alot better.
