I'm so used to myspace but I can't figure out this facebook. I can't even see people's profile or figure out how to do a layout.
Does anyone find facebook difficult to figure out?
Facebook isn't hard to use. I figured it out in a few minutes, but I hate it. It Sucks. It's sometimes Slow, but with the Profile thing. Most Profiles are private were people who aren't friends with them can't view it, so if you wanna View it add them. Easy as that %26amp; people who said she is Dumb, Back off. Not many people know how to work everything that has to deal with Technology. Goodluck with figuring it out :)
Reply:Yeah, I totally find facebook difficult. What with all the different "applications" or whatever. I can understand the applications that came with my account (like pokes and notes) when I first signed up, but when I look at my friend's pages, then it gets crazy!
I mean, why can't I just post up links and graphics on my page like I can on myspace? You have to install specific applications that let you do that, how annoying! Plus, what's up with the boring white background of Facebook?
But yeah, to see other people's profiles you need to be friends. Or be in their network (like live in the same city or go to the same school). But then it depends 'cuz some people make their profiles private or limited.
Reply:For most people you do have to be their friend or at least be in their network to see their profile. There aren't different layouts either like there are on myspace.
Reply:ugh i know what you mean i use myspace all the time and i have been using it for like 3 years now!
and now this facebook thing is all difficult and boring...
stick to myspace!
Reply:yeah that's like me and my friends with facebook. that's EXACTLY what happened a few months ago.
facebook is different than myspace; there are no layouts, no bulletins, no "comments", etc...
instead of layouts everyone has the same simple basic profile. instead of bulletins people have statuses and a news feed about everything that everyone does (like for example, if someone comments someone's picture, the news feed says "_______ has commented _____'s picture" if they're both friends with you), and instead of comments there is a wall on everyone's profile that allows people to write posts.
it's fairly simple once you get the hang of it. and there are MANY different applications to add to your profile.
